100 Sweat To a Hangar

I have finally finished work and have 2 weeks of holidays.  After 4 years me and the mrs are finally returning to New York.  The place that we got married!  I don’t think I have looked forward to a holiday quite as much as this one.  Due to my going away the next weekly competition will be drawn on 22nd February.

Yesterday I got the mining itch.  It had been a while since i’d done any mining seriously so I set out in search of minerals.  After a disappointing start I started discussing mining with an in game friend of mine.  After reading what he had to say (which made a lot of sense)  I decided to change my rtactics some what.  Shortly after I hit a strange signal!  It was only 50ped robot res but was my first mining global in a while.  Unfortunately I forgot to take screenshots and only snagged this one after reviving.

I continued mining for a bit longer then gave it up for the night.  Today when I woke up I fancied trying my luck up on CND.  I have always done spectacularly poorly up on CND but was hoping for a change of fortune this time.  Well it didn’t happen.  Out of 100 bombs I hit 1 ample iron find.  Whilst waiting for my flight down to get it’s full compliment of passengers I grabbed the tt enmatter finder and set out wasting a few probes.  In 37 Probes I hit 3 amples and 1 small find.  I found this a little ironic and a little crazy.  Anyway once on the ground I set out testing my new mining strategy during the course of which I was being attacked by a corn old.  With my trusty tt melee weapon I set about defending myself.  1 Hit short of killing this beast it killed me.  I took the decision to tp back and finish it off.  Boy am I glad I did since it held this

Maybe MA was paying me back for what I lost on CND...
